I just returned from a trip to Winnipeg and was so stoked to have a supply of Genki bars on board. A few good reasons:
- they are so small, packable (they do not crush or melt), and yet so filling. I ended up nearly missing my flight due to problems with the booking agency… which meant sprinting to the gate without breakfast. I was lucky to have one slipped into my purse. Most low calorie bars would leave me even more hungry. With the Genki bar I was satisfied through the flight until landing… which meant no unhealthy air plane food!
- I can feed them to my daughter without feeling guilty for giving her chemicals or refined sugar. AND she loves them. I could also feel good about eating them pregnant when eating nutritious food was tough since I was so sick. I needed a small healthy snack often and always had to have one in my purse and in my bedside table.
- I can eat them before a run in the morning and they are just enough but not too much. They keep me energized through the workout without feeling heavy or like they are fighting with my digestive track.
- they are a big part of my diet… and that makes me happy. As a busy mom and athlete, convenience food is an inevitable part of my diet. I feel good about that part being filled with real and healthy food. My clients are always surprised to see that such a large part of their diet is comprised of absolute junk bars. You have to think what those daily choices are doing to you in the long term. With Genki you get the best of both worlds.
